=========================== BADMUTHAFUKKA'S CONFIG v1.0 =========================== by Andrew Doro and Nick Doro This config has several cool features: - Freelook locked on. - A crosshair toggle. - Sniper mode (zoom-in and crosshair combined) - X-ray mode. - Night Vision. - Cheat Toggle (this toggles cheats on and off, depending on whether or not you want to cheat.) - Wide-Angle view. - Circle-strafe aliases. - Centerview in freelook. - Two types of quicksaving. (this comes in handy a lot) - Lots of sound effects for everything! A big difference you'll find in this config is that to use X-ray mode and night vision, you have to hold down the key to use them. When you release the key, your vision goes back to normal. I did this because this way you don't accidentally leave X-ray mode or night vision on. Also, now you don't have click them on and off. Trust me, it's really great this way. The cheat toggle was a really new idea that came to me because sometimes I like to play Quake with the cheats and sometimes I like to play fair. But, when I tried to play fair, I'd accidentally trigger the quad cheat or something! To eliminate this problem, I made it so you have to push HOME to toggle the cheats on and off. ====================== HOW TO USE THIS CONFIG ====================== To try out this config, make a directory called BADMUTHA or something. Then, put the AUTOEXEC.CFG and BADMUTHA.CFG into that directory. Now, run quake with the line; QUAKE -GAME BADMUTHA Feel free to change this config around and personalize it. I'm just posting this on the internet to give other Quake players some cool ideas. ================================== OTHER GREAT STUFF BY BADMUTHAFUKKA ================================== Pulp Quake - It's a mod that changes a lot of the sound effects to those from the movie Pulp Fiction! (Parental Advisory: Explicit language) The overall effect is very cool! Monty Python Quake - This was started right after finishing Pulp Quake. We decided to make use the silly sound effects from Monty Python's Flying Circus, just like we used the sound effects from the movie Pulp Fiction in Pulp Quake. Not only are the sound effects different, but we've made a few changes to make the game more Python-esque! Send comments & other stuff to: Zahgurim@msn.com
