Cheat Codes

• idkfa - You get max ammo, max health, max armour and max weapons. This cheat is more effective if you've found a backpack (if you have a backpack, then using the cheat gets you twice as much ammo as without a backpack).
• idfa - max ammo, weapons, etc but will not give you any keys
• iddqd - god mode. make you invincible
• idclev## - warps you to level ##
• idmypos - shows your position in doom (in hex)
• idbehold - allows you to get more of different items depending on which key you press immediatelly after the code:
  • A - Allmap (computer map),
  • I - Invisibility,
  • L - Light Amplification,
  • R - Radiation Suit,
  • S - Berserker,
  • V - Invulnerability,
• idclip - Walk through walls (zero clipping, they call it). Type this again to turn it off. You can't activate teleporters, pick up things, etc., when this mdoe is on. Plus, it can be tricky to fight the bad guys because their gun blasts, etc. can knock you through a wall!).
• idchoppers - gives you the chainsaw
• iddt - In the Map mode (after pressing the TAB key)
  • type once: show entire map,
  • type twice: show all monsters as well
  • type a third time: back to normal
  • type ALT iddt four times in deathmatch (v1.8+)
  • f - toggle follow mode. Used only when in Automap mode (i.e. after pressing TAB). When off, you can move the map around with the mouse/arrow keys/ trackball/whatever. When on, the mouse/arrow keys, etc. will move YOU around, not the map and the white arrow which represents you stays in the center of the screen. This can actually be very useful for navigating complicated areas after all the bad guys are dead, and for seeing whether you're still standing on a ledge, etc. (e.g. the 5 pillars room in E1L9). Zoom right in to see what I mean.
  • +/- - zoom into and out of the map
  • g - display a grid over the map
  • m - mark a position on the map
  • c - clear the marks
  • 0 - toggle between zoomed and full view
• idclev## - switches music to the music from level ##
